A cup of Vietnamese coffee after a meal is a dessert in itself. Very sweet with the addition of Sweetened Condensed Milk. With the flavors of the slow brewed Vietnamese Coffee (you can usually find in an Asian Store) the sweetened condensed milk and freezing, makes a delicious ice cream.
Vietnamese Coffee Ice Cream
3 cups Sweetened Condensed Milk
3 cups slow brewed Vietnamese Coffee (you can substitute with Espresso)
1 cup Half-and-Half
Whisk together the condensed milk, Vietnamese coffee, half-and-half in a large bowl. Cover with plastic wrap touching the liquid with no air bubbles.
Freeze in an ice cream maker according to the instructions. Once frozen transfer to an airtight container and freeze until firm enough to scoop.
